As many of you know, the Dalian trains were first deployed for revenue line on July 16, 2025, and were last utilized on September 9, 2025.

In a recent video released by the Department of Transportation, an inspection inside the MRT-3 Depot in Quezon City was conducted by DOTr Secretary Giovanni "Banoy" Lopez, accompanied by MRT-3 General Manager Mike Capati, Sumitomo Corp. Philippines Manager Hidenori Sunohara, CRRC Senior Regional Manager Damien Chang, and LTFRB Executive Director Loumer Bernabe.

Sec. Banoy announced that we can expect 3 sets (9 LRVs) of 3-car Dalian trains to run again this coming December, in time for the busier peak Christmas season.
